On August 1, 2025 The Oak Ave Barber will switch to an hourly pricing structure. This means that guests of the shop will be charged based on the time spent on the service, rather than the service itself. Each barber or stylist will have a set hourly rate, emphasizing transparency and consistency for both OAB’s staff and our clients! This pricing structure will allow us to offer more specific services in increments of 15, 30, 45, 60, 90 minutes, etc. It will give our barbers and stylists a consistent, predictable income tracking method and help them achieve more life milestones, like buying a home or taking more time off to enjoy life.

Example-Jane has a set hourly rate of $100. A service that is 15 minutes is $25, 30 minutes is $50, 45 minutes is $75, 60 minutes is $100, 75 minutes is $125.

We are basing the hourly rate on prices we already have set, but it will increase certain services by 5%-20%. With the change and increase, we will be adding a loyalty rewards program and quarterly ‘pay what you can’ days. Please know that gratuity is always optional!
